IS IT REALLY?

Is it really a whole long year since I last wrote here? Can hardly believe it. I dont really remember why must I have given up the idea of writing regularly. Yes. It was the realization that I don't know how to market.

I should have known that nobody was waiting for me to publish a blog so that it could be instantly devoured by the impatient waiters. How ignorant I was! It was as if Hussain had painted a holy image just for himself and hiddden it away from whole of the world. Not a soull seems to have read my maiden offering. I haven't a clue about how to make others realize that there is a wonderful blog on the web.( Mine. whose else?) Now my untrained, rather naive , approach would be to write to my friends to read my writing here at the blogspot. ( and wait for someone to teach me what is the right way to go about.)

And now the reason for this one...

'The Queen is not likely to come and inaugurate Commonwealth Games this year being held in our own. Hamari ,Dilli.' It is the first time in past 44 years that sheis no doing the honour. And that too in our own Dilli that she is not coming? Disgusting.

I believe, I am made to believe by the newspaper reports today, that its because of the workload. I quite sympathise with her; the old lady should not have been given unbearable workload!

If there is ( and this again someone has to tell me) an RTI act applicable to United Kingdom , at least to England, and secondly, if a person not residing- nor a citizen even of that land - there could enjoy RTI about that country.

Suppopsing the answers to these questions are Yeses, I would like to seek the following information to pinpoint exactly how this overloading the Queen with work must have happened.

1. When were the CWG allotted to INDIA?

2. Did the games committee informed the Buxkingham Palace? When?

3. Did organizing Committee invite her? When? Have they an acknowledgement?

4. Who is responsible for maintaining Her engagement Diary?

5. Was the day of the games 'blocked' in that Diary? When?

6 Have her physicians fixed quantum of workload that she can undertake?

7. Whose responsibility is it to see that the workload as defined above is not exceeded?

8. Is that person authorized to use his discretion in the matter of alloting priorities to all the work that comes her way?

9. In case the Diary is overfull who decides what should be taken off it and what is to be given a push ?
10. I would like to have a copy of notings on the file that decided against her agreeing to be the inaugurator?

I think ten questions are good enough to start with. You can add as many as you like and are relevant. Please also let me know what is the fee per query?.. its rupees ten here in India.
If the Queen thinks she can afford to brush aside a powerful country like ours and get away with it lightly, it is time to remind her that minus the Indians, the economy of her kingdom, or whatever is left of it, would certainly collapse, the health system would collapse, the education system would collapse, the transport sector would collapse and the future heirs to the throne will be wearing the crowns of thorns and nothing else.
